Green Tea Gyokuro Kusanagi Kagoshima BIO - character and origin from Kagoshima

Green Tea Gyokuro Kusanagi Kagoshima BIO is an organic Japanese green tea from Kagoshima. Gyokuro is one of the most refined styles of Japanese green tea and is distinguished by shading the tea plants for an extended period before harvesting. This shading allows the leaves to develop their characteristic full umami and gentle natural sweetness. This Gyokuro has a fresh and intensely green character, with pronounced vegetal notes and a distinctive hint reminiscent of seaweed. After harvesting, the leaves are steamed to quickly stop oxidation and preserve their fresh aromas. The result is a rich yet refined Gyokuro in which umami, freshness and soft green nuances come together beautifully. A special organic green tea for lovers of the distinctive flavor and refinement of Japanese Gyokuro.

Mijn favoriete groene thee!
