Green tea Jade Snail is a Chinese green tea from Fujian, made from finely rolled, slightly downy tea buds. The compact leaves resemble small spiral-shaped snail shells and slowly unfurl during infusion. Soft roasted and nutty notes come through in the flavor, complemented by a subtle smokiness. The result is an aromatic green tea with more depth than many distinctly fresh green teas, while retaining a refined and gentle character. During brewing, the tightly rolled leaves gradually open and release their aromas. This makes Jade Snail interesting not only for its flavor, but also for its distinctive shape and the way the leaves develop over successive infusions.
