Green Tea Taiping Hou Kui - Superior Premium – character and origin from Anhui

Green tea Taiping Hou Kui Superior Premium is a high-quality Chinese green tea from the Huangshan region in Anhui. This distinctive tea style is immediately recognizable by its exceptionally large, long, and flat leaves, which give Taiping Hou Kui a very distinctive appearance. This Superior Premium has a refined, floral, and lightly sweet character. Fresh green notes are complemented by a soft, aromatic flavor, allowing the tea to remain elegant despite the impressive size of the leaf. For this tea, young leaves are carefully picked in spring and traditionally processed by hand. The characteristic flat shape develops during processing and is one of the most recognizable features of Taiping Hou Kui. A distinctive Chinese green tea for those who value not only refined flavor, but also the quality and craftsmanship of the tea leaf.

ORIGIN

Anhui, China

Anhui is a mountainous tea province in eastern China, where tea has been part of the local culture for centuries. The cool, humid climate and often misty mountain slopes provide ideal conditions for refined teas. The region is best known for Huang Shan Mao Feng and the black tea Keemun.
