Matcha Premium Kirishima 1st Flush - ceremonial matcha from Japan
This premium ceremonial matcha comes from Kirishima in Kagoshima, a renowned tea-growing region in southern Japan. The matcha is made from the first harvest and was selected for those who want to prepare matcha in a pure and traditional way.
The fine, intensely green matcha powder has a soft and rich umami character, with a refined natural sweetness and little bitterness. When whisked, it develops a soft, creamy texture and a beautiful froth.
This grade is particularly suitable for traditional preparation with a matcha bowl and chasen. Use approximately 1.5 to 2 grams of matcha and water at around 70–80 °C, and whisk until a fine froth forms.
Store matcha tightly sealed in a dry, cool place to preserve its colour, aroma and freshness as well as possible.
